Chief Secretary directed the Home Department to conduct an awareness campaign in the media


Karachi: The Sindh government has decided to crack down on vehicles with fake number plates and tinted windows.
According to media report, a law and order meeting was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Chief Secretary Asif Haider Shah, in which it was decided to crack down on those displaying fake number plates, vehicles with tinted windows, and weapons.
The Chief Secretary directed the Home Department to conduct an awareness campaign in the media in this regard.
In the meeting, it was also decided to form a community watch group at the neighborhood level under the supervision of assistant commissioners to improve law and order.
Speaking in the meeting, the Chief Secretary said that action should be taken against vehicles with fake number plates and tinted windows and all law enforcement agencies should be active to ensure public safety.
