Shooter of AP Dhillon's residence arrested
Notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the incident
The suspects who opened fire outside the house of Indian-born Canadian singer and rapper Amrit Pal Singh Dhillon, known as AP Dhillon, will be presented in court today.
According to Indian media reports, at the beginning of September this year, an incident of firing and burning of two vehicles took place outside AP Dhillon's house in Vancouver, Canada.
Later, the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the incident, claiming that they had fired outside AP Dhillon's house for casting actor Salman Khan in a music video.
The CCTV footage of the incident came to light, after which the Canadian police arrested a 25-year-old Indian man named Abhijit Kangra from Ontario for his alleged involvement in the shooting case, while the arrest warrants of an Indian citizen Vikram Sharma have also been issued.
Canadian police said Abhijeet Kangra has been charged with setting fire to vehicles using a firearm in the incident and will be arraigned in an Ontario court today.
It is pertinent to note that the notorious gang is being investigated for the murders of Indian Punjabi singers Sidhu Musewala and Baba Siddique, while they have also threatened to kill actor Salman Khan.
