Air Quality Index of Lahore has reached 709

Lahore: The shadows of smog still exist over the provincial capital Lahore making it number one in the world in terms of air pollution.
The average rate of smog in the city has increased to an alarming level. The Air Quality Index (AQI) of Lahore has reached 709, and the DHA area is at 1,319.
Similarly, the Air Quality Index of the American Consulate area has reached 1,007.
In Lahore, breathing problems are increasing due to air pollution, while there are also complaints of eye irritation. The medical experts have instructed the citizens to wear masks while going out.
On the other hand, in terms of air pollution, the Indian city of Kolkata ranks second with 311 AQI and Delhi ranks third with 258 AQI.
