Almora: In a tragic incident, 36 people were killed as a passenger bus plunged into a deep ditch in the Indian state of Uttarakhand.
According to Indian media, a passenger bus ran out of control in the city of Almora in the state of Uttarakhand and fell into a 200-meter-deep ditch.
According to the report, a total of 50 people were on board the bus which was going from Goli Khal area to Raam Nagar when it met with an accident in which 36 people were killed and 19 injured.

On receiving the information about the accident, local people and rescue teams reached the site where the injured were shifted to the hospital for immediate medical assistance.
According to Indian media, the chief minister of Uttarakhand announced to give INR0.4 million to the families of those killed in the accident and INR0.1 million to the injured.
