Hajj quota will be divided in the ratio of 50 percent in government and private Hajj schemes

Islamabad: The Federal Cabinet has approved the Hajj Policy 2025.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif chaired the federal cabinet meeting which approved the Hajj Policy 2025.
According to the policy, next year 179,210 pilgrims will be able to perform Hajj. The official Hajj package will cost from Rs1.65 million to Rs1.75 million.
The Hajj quota will be divided in the ratio of 50 percent in government and private Hajj schemes. The sponsorship scheme has also been approved in the Hajj policy.
The long-duration Hajj will cover 38 to 42 days and the short-duration Hajj will cover 20 to 25 days. Saudi-government-approved vaccine is mandatory for Hajj pilgrims.
