The price of yellow metal settles at Rs283,000 per tola

Karachi: Gold prices lost shine in the local bullion markets in the country on Tuesday, declining by Rs500 to settle at Rs283,200 per tola.
The 10-gram gold was sold at Rs242,798 after a decrease of Rs429, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). On Monday, gold price per tola increased by Rs700 to settle at Rs283,700.
The international rate of gold also declined by $5 to settle at $2,737 per ounce.
