Four terrorists were also arrested from other places in Balochistan

Karachi: The mastermind of the suicide attack on the Chinese engineers at the Karachi airport signal was arrested from Wander, area of Balochistan.
According to the details, police and sensitive agencies in Balochistan conducted a targeted operation based on secret information, as a result of which two suicide bombers were arrested from Lasbela district. The attackers wanted to target security forces and foreigners in Karachi.
Four terrorists were also arrested from other places in Balochistan.
It is pertinent to note that on the night of October 6, three people, including two Chinese nationals, were killed in a suicide bombing near Karachi Airport, while more than 12 people, including police and Rangers personnel, were injured and more than a dozen vehicles were damaged.
The blast was so loud that it was heard in far-flung areas of the city including District Central. Initially, the cause of the blast was attributed to the explosion of an oil tanker, but after investigation, it was ruled a suicide blast.
The responsibility for the suicide blast was accepted by the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA). The case of the incident was registered in the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) at the complaint of the Station House Officer (SHO) of the airport police station, including the provisions of murder, attempted murder, suicide attack, explosives, and terrorism.
