Shehbaz Sharif will address the United Nations Framework Convention COP 29 summit in Baku today and tomorrow


Baku: The meeting of the Conference of the Parties has started in Azerbaijan to deal with the possible threats of environmental pollution, climate change, and global warming.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also arrived in Baku from Riyadh to participate in the ‘World Leaders Climate Action Summit’.
Shehbaz Sharif will address the United Nations Framework Convention COP 29 summit in Baku today and tomorrow.
According to Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, the Prime Minister will address the summit on November 13 and will also hold bilateral meetings with world leaders.
He will also participate in the event organized by the UN Secretary on Global Temperature and will also attend the dinner hosted by the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi along with the Prime Minister are included in the delegation to participate in COP 29.
According to the spokesman, there will be several high-level events and round table discussions hosted by Pakistan at the Pakistan Pavilion during COP 29.
According to the spokesperson, during this time, Pakistan will highlight the principles of equal responsibility and differential responsibility.
