Hours for Nawafil prayer scheduled in Hateem

Makkah: Timings have been issued for praying Nawafal in Hateem, the precincts of the Kaaba.

According to the administration, the hours for men in Hajar-e-Ismail or Hatim will be from 8:00am to 11:00am.

Women can pay Nawafil from 8:00pm to 2:00am in Hateem.

According to the administration, the entry will be through the western gate and the stopover time at Hateem will be 10 minutes.

The administration said that the purpose of fixing the Nawafil hours in Hateem is to control the rush.

It is pertinent to note that Hajar-e-Ismail or Hatim is a part of Baitullah. Many hadiths confirm that praying inside its premises is like praying inside the Kaaba.
