Chaudhry Shujaat demanded that govt name all new roads built after martyrs


Lahore: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi announced that new roads to be built in Islamabad will be named after martyrs.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) chief Chaudhry Shujaat and Shafay Hussain at their residence during which Chaudhry Shujaat condemned the Quetta railway station blast. Both the leaders expressed their heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of the martyrs.
During the meeting, Chaudhry Shujaat demanded that the government name all the new roads built after the martyrs, which the interior minister accepted and announced to name the new roads built in Islamabad after the martyrs.
On this occasion, Mohsin Naqvi said that Pakistan's sacrifices in the war against terrorism are unparalleled in the world. Thousands of Pakistanis have lost their lives in the war against terrorism, whose great sacrifices cannot be repaid.
Chaudhry Shujaat and Shafay Hussain congratulated the Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on winning the One Day International (ODI) series against Australia and said that your hard work and team performance played an important role in the victory. It is hoped that the Pakistani team will perform like this in the Champions Trophy as well.
