Elections will be held for the Vice Chairman of Union Committee No. 6 and the Chairman of UC Rohri in two seats of Sukkur
Karachi: The polling for the by-elections in 18 districts across Sindh is today (Thursday). The polling process started at 8:00am in all districts.
In addition to the six districts of Karachi, votes will be cast for 22 different categories in 12 other districts of Sindh. All preparations for the polling, including the stage of delivery of equipment, have been completed.
Elections will be held for the Vice Chairman of Union Committee No. 6 and the Chairman of Union Council (UC) Rohri in two seats of Sukkur.
In four seats of Nawabshah, the Vice Chairman will be elected in Constituency IV of Sukrund, the General Councilor in Ward No. II, and the chairman and member of the district council will be elected in HM Khawaja Union Council IV.
In Ghotki, polling will be held for the Chairman of the UC of Obaro, Kumo Shaheed, while votes will be cast for five seats in Hyderabad and two seats in Tando Muhammad Khan.
Voting will be held for the General Councilor seat in Ward No. II of UC Landhi of Tando Allahyar, for the General Councilor seat in Ward No. II of Ratodero in Larkana, and the General Councilor seat in UC Lakha in Qambar Shahdadkot.
General Councilor seat in Ward No. VII of Matiari Town Committee, Ward No. VI of Jacobabad Municipal Committee, Chairman seat in Shikarpur Union Council No. V, while in Nowshera Feroze, for the Chairman seat in Union Council Newabad and the Councilor seat in Kandhar.
