Rohit Sharma and Ritika Sajde tied the knot on December 15, 2015, after dating each other for several years. This is the second child of captain Rohit Sharma and his wife Ritika Sajde. The couple already have a six-year-old daughter, Sameera.
The news of Rohit Sharma's son's birth surfaced on several social media platforms the other day, after which the Indian media has now confirmed this news.
Indian media reported that the exact date of Rohit's second child's birth has not been confirmed, but a formal announcement regarding the birth of the son is expected from the couple soon.
It is pertinent to note that Rohit Sharma did not travel to Perth with the Indian team for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test against Australia, which raised many questions among fans about Rohit's captaincy.
Notably, the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series against Australia will be played in Perth from November 22.
