Rawalpindi Division: All educational institutions to reopen from Tuesday
Authorities have decided following the improvement in the smog situation
Rawalpindi: The Director General (DG) Environment Department issued a notification to reopen all educational institutions across Rawalpindi Division from Tuesday.
According to the details, the Rawalpindi division includes Rawalpindi city, Attock, Jhelum, and Chakwal.
The students, teachers, and all the staff have been directed to ensure full attendance at instutions.
Commissioner Rawalpindi had requested the Environment Department to lift the ban. The authorities have decided following the improvement in the smog situation.
Similarly, the Air Quality Index (AQI) of Lahore seems to be improving.
The sources of the Education Department stated that they are considering reopening schools in Lahore from November 19. The official notification will be issued by the Punjab government in this regard.
It is pertinent to note that the AQI of Lahore has improved for the past two days and the sun is also shining fully.
