Weather in Lahore has become colder due to early morning rain


Lahore: Clouds have entered various cities of the country, with rain and cold winds in Lahore, increasing the intensity of the cold.
The weather in the provincial capital has become colder due to the early morning rain.
Light rain fell in different areas of Lahore, including Garhi Shahu, Abbot Road, Mall Road, Jail Road, Mazang, Ferozepur Road, Model Town, Gulberg, Kalma Chowk, and Garden Town. In addition, drizzle was also recorded in Kasur, Kahna, Pakpattan, and Renala Khurd.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to be extremely cold in the mountainous areas in the morning and night. In addition to partly cloudy weather in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and northeastern Punjab, light rain and light snowfall in the mountains are expected.
According to weather forecasters, fog is expected in the plain areas of Punjab, upper Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the morning and night.
According to the Meteorological Department, the mountainous areas are experiencing bitter cold, with the mercury dropping to -13 in Leh, -11 in Skardu, -9 in Gopis, -8 in Gilgit and Dir, -7 in Astore, -6 in Kalat and Bagroot, and -5 degrees Celsius in Quetta, Ziarat, and Chitral.
The Meteorological Department has predicted that the cold will continue to increase in different parts of the country.
