ISPR informed that Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu also met foreign delegations during the visit


Rawalpindi: Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu visited the International Defence Exhibition and Summit (IDEAS) 2024 held at the Karachi Expo Center and reviewed various stalls.
According to the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) Department of the Pakistan Army, Chief of the PAF Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu emphasized the development of the capacity and skills of local industries through the National Incubation Center for Aerospace Technology.
The ISPR informed that Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu also met foreign delegations during the visit. Issues related to the purchase and sale of aerospace equipment and increasing self-sufficiency in the defense industry were discussed in the meeting. The PAF Chief encouraged the establishment of a defense industrial framework.
Chief of the PAF Zaheer Ahmed said that the purpose of the framework is to remove problems in the development of the aerospace sector, and it is necessary to promote local and international cooperation to promote aerospace initiatives.
The ISPR further stated that this exhibition is an excellent manifestation of progress in defense and aerospace technology, which is attracting domestic and foreign participants.
