Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz said that overall conditions in Punjab are better than in other provinces.
Participants of the National Security Workshop met the Punjab Chief Minister, during which they titled her as ‘Super CM’ and said that they had come out of darkness into light after coming to Punjab.
On this occasion, Maryam Nawaz stated that overall conditions in Punjab are better than in other provinces. Here, no appointments were made on recommendation, there is no compromise on merit.
She added that they wanted to control the smog soon. Positive effects of government measures are also coming to the fore.
Maryam further said that inflation is low in Pakistan and foreign exchange reserves are increasing. The stock market has made records, IT exports are increasing. Controlling inflation is a difficult task, but coming down from 38 percent to 7 percent is a big deal.
The Punjab Chief Minister also stated that there are threats of terrorism, and law and order is the top priority. ‘We will build a safe city in Punjab and panic buttons will be installed everywhere. Corruption is my red line, every task that has a positive impact on the lives of 150 million people is my priority’.
Maryam Nawaz continued to say that governments are not allowed to work. They catch thieves and robbers and they get relief from the courts.
