Malaysian PM hospitalised after suffering a bout of diarrhoea
Kuala Lumpur: Malaysia Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has been hospitalised after he was down with diarrhoea since yesterday.
The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) in a statement on Wednesday (today) said Muhyiddin was admitted to a hospital this morning.
"The Prime Minister's Office would like to inform that the prime minister was down with diarrhoea since yesterday.
"Therefore, he has been admitted to a hospital here this morning to receive treatment and monitoring," the statement read.
In 2018, Mr Muhyiddin was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and declared cancer-free in June last year, according to an earlier statement from his office.
