Islamophobia: Pakistan-origin man harassed, stabbed over ‘beard and clothing’ in Canada
Just three weeks after the brutal killing of Pakistani family in Ontario, a Pakistani-origin man was stabbed in a Canada’s Saskatchewan province by two unidentified assailants.

According to local media, the incident occurred in the city of Saskatoon where a Pakistani national Muhammad Kashif was harassed and stabbed with a knife by two attackers.
Starphoenix daily reported that the 32-year old Muhammad Kashif was attacked while he was returning to his home in the evening.
Kashif was wearing traditional Muslim clothing and he told police that attackers stabbed him in the back and shouted, “Why are you wearing this dress? Why are you here? Go back to your country. I hate Muslims.”
They also shouted “And why do you have this beard?” before cutting off a part of Kashif’s beard.
Following the incident, the Pakistani-origin man was immediately rushed to the hospital where he was given 14 stitches.
“A third attacker might have been waiting for the first two in a nearby green car,” Kashif said.
The mayor of Saskatoon, Charlie Clark released a statement in which he said that he was “horrified and saddened” by the attack. Police has launched an investigation into the assault.
Earlier on June 06, four members of a Pakistani family in Ontario were run down by a truck.
