Islamabad: The Islamabad police arrested 200 activists of the Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in different raids in the last 24 hours or so. The arrests have been made ahead of the November 24 protest announced by the party leadership.
At least 27 teams of the Islamabad police conducted search operations across various areas of the city.
Sources claimed that the arrested individuals included both men and women and weapons were recovered from their possession.
The capital police and the district administration have already sealed the capital by placing containers and barriers to stop the PTI workers from assembling at D-Chowk.
