Four new polio cases reported in Pakistan
Out of the 4 new cases, 2 are from KP and 2 from are Balochistan
Peshawar/Quetta: In the last 24 hours, four new cases of polio have been reported from across the country.
According to the media reports, out of the four new cases, two are from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and two from Balochistan and the number of children infected with polio this year has reached 56.
It is also reported that an eight-month-old girl has been confirmed to have polio virus in Dera Ismail Khan.
Earlier, three more cases of poliovirus had been reported in the country. Two children infected with polio were from Balochistan and one was from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Ministry of Health reported that the number of poliovirus cases in the country is increasing.
