Defamation campaign is being run on Threads, X, Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp


Lahore: The social media handlers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have launched a defamation campaign against senior police officers of Punjab and Islamabad.
According to the details, the defamation campaign is being run on Threads, X, Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp.
In the posts, they have targeted Inspector General (IG) Punjab Dr Usman Anwar, IG Islamabad Ali Raza Rizvi, Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore Bilal Siddiq Kamyana, and and Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Liaqat Malik.
It is pertinent to note that PTI miscreants are also causing damage to the Punjab and Islamabad police on the ground. They rammed a vehicle into Rangers personnel on the Srinagar Highway, killing four Rangers personnel and seriously injuring five Rangers and two policemen.
Moreover, during the PTI protest, 22 Gujranwala Range Police personnel, including a Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), were injured in a clash with workers at the Hazara Motorway Interchange.
