Islamabad: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Wednesday predicted hot and dry weather at scattered places in the country during next 12 hours.

According to Met department, hot and dry weather is likely to prevail over most parts of the country, while very hot in Sindh and central/ southern Balochistan during the next twelve hours.
However, rain-wind-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) and Gilgit Baltistan (GB).
The weather department has recorded temperature of some major cities this morning.
Islamabad twenty-four degree centigrade, Lahore thirty-two, Karachi thirty, Peshawar twenty-eight, Quetta and Muzaffarabad twenty-two, Gilgit twenty-three and Murree nineteen degree centigrade.
For Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy and dry weather is expected in Srinagar, Anantnag, Shopian, Baramula, Pulwama, while partly cloudy in Leh and very hot and dry weather in Jammu.
The recorded temperature for Srinagar, Pulwama and Anantnag is seventeen degree centigrade, Jammu twenty-five, Baramula and Shopian eighteen centigrade.
