Two soldiers martyred in terrorist firing from Afghanistan
North Waziristan: Terrorists from inside Afghanistan across the international border opened fire on a military post in Dwatoi, North Waziristan District, said military’s media wing.
According to the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), during the exchange of fire, two soldiers 43-year old Havaldar Saleem and 35-year old Lance Naik Pervaiz embraced martyrdom. Own troops responded in a befitting manner.
ISPR added that Pakistan has consistently been asking Afghanistan to ensure effective border control on their side.
Pakistan strongly condemns the continuous use of Afghan soil for terrorist activities against Pakistan, the press release said.
