Govt to intensify anti-plastic campaign and crackdown from Dec 10

Lahore: The Punjab government has decided to online register the plastic manufacturers, suppliers and recyclers in the province.
Senior Minister Punjab Marriyum Aurangzeb said that it has been decided to register plastic producers, suppliers, and recyclers online in the province, which will collect data on the plastic industry in one place.
The Minister for Environmental Protection stated that the aim is to make the supply side of plastic a complete part of the formal economy which will control environmental pollution and also increase transparency in the economy.
