According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an intelligence-based operation was conducted by the Security Forces in the general area of Gul Imam in Tank District on the reported presence of Khwarij.
During the conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged their location, resulting in the killing of nine Khwarij, while six got injured.
In another operation, conducted by the Security Forces in North Waziristan District, ten Khwarij were successfully neutralized.
