Lahore: Three women were suffocated to death after fire erupted in Saint Thomas Centre in New Lahore Park, in Raiwind Road on Wednesday, GNN reported.

Police said women were taking training classes of Bibel when fire broke out at the first floor of Saint Thomas Centre. The huge flames led to dense smoke as a result of which four women fainted.

Rescuers and police rushed to the spot on an emergency call and resuced the fainted vicitms to the hospital. Three women identified as 22-year-old Neelam of Kasur, 25-year-old Kinza of Sargodha and 42-year-old Rabeeka died of suffocation.
The bodies of victims were shifted to Jinnah Hospital's morgue.
