US Deputy Ambassador to Pakistan said that Pakistan is emerging from serious economic challenges


Islamabad: The United States has assured Pakistan of its full support to overcome its economic challenges and implement much-needed economic reforms.
Addressing the fifth Pakistan-US Business Conference in Islamabad, US Deputy Ambassador to Pakistan Natalie Baker said that Pakistan is emerging from serious economic challenges, but for it, seemingly difficult but much-needed economic reforms are inevitable.
She said that the United States will support Pakistan through this transformation of reforms. If Pakistan realizes its potential in these areas for growth and development, it will benefit not only Pakistan but also the region and the world. We want Pakistan and its citizens to succeed and become an economic powerhouse.
The Deputy Ambassador stated that US missions in Pakistan, including the Embassy in Islamabad, and our consulates in Karachi, Lahore, and Peshawar, are committed to increasing bilateral trade and investment to help Pakistan unlock these economic opportunities.
