PSX increased by more than 1,000 points

Karachi: A new record was set on the Pakistan Stock Exchange and the 100 Index also crossed the psychological threshold of 111,000 points.
A huge surge was seen at the start of trading on the second day of the business week.
During trading, the Pakistan Stock Market increased by more than 1,000 points, with the 100 Index on the stock exchange touching a high of 111,014 points.
It is pertinent to note that on the first day of the business week, there was a positive trend in business on the Pakistan Stock Exchange, due to which the 100 Index increased by 916 points and closed at a high of 109,970 points.
