Lahore: The Punjab government has reached an agreement with a Chinese company to set up a mobile manufacturing factory.
Punjab Industries Minister Chaudhry Shafay Hussain met the CEO of the Chinese company, in which an agreement was reached between the Punjab Department of Industries and Commerce and the Chinese company.
Chaudhry Shafay said that under the agreement, the Chinese company will set up a mobile manufacturing plant in Punjab, and all possible facilities will be provided to the company.
The provincial minister stated that it is an ideal time and a favorable environment for foreign investment in Punjab, and investors in special economic zones enjoy special incentives.
It is pertinent to note that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is also on an official visit to China these days, where she signed agreements with various Chinese companies in IT and solar technology, among other sectors.
