Cop martyred in attack on polio vaccination team in Karak

Karak: A policeman was martyred and a polio worker was injured when unknown gunmen opened fire at a polio vaccination team in Tehsil Banda Daud Shah of Karak district today.

Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi has termed the attack on the polio team as a cowardly act.

He expressed grief over the loss of the precious life of the policeman in the incident and directed to provide the best medical treatment to the injured polio worker.         

The Governor sought a report from higher officials on the incident.
