Slain terrorist and his associates were planning to attack police and security forces


Lakki Marwat: A terrorist was killed during a joint operation conducted by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and police in Lakki Marwat.
According to CTD officials, the police and CTD conducted a joint Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) in the Shagai area of Gambila police station. In an exchange of fire, one terrorist was killed and two escaped. Arms and ammunition were recovered from the slain alleged terrorist.
The slain terrorist, Asif Ali of Fitna Al-Khawarij, was an important associate of the local commander, the most wanted Khawarij Inamullah alias Lamba.
According to officials, the slain alleged terrorist and his associates were planning to attack the police and security forces. During the raid, the terrorists opened fire at the police. After retaliatory firing, the terrorist was found dead in a search operation.
According to CTD officials, the two terrorists, Inam alias Lamba and Wilayat, managed to escape.
