Modern cable to connect today to increase internet speed
IT experts say that cable capacity is 180 terabytes per second

Islamabad: The modern cable to increase internet speed in Pakistan will be connected today.
Under the program to connect modern cable to Africa to increase internet speed in the country, a 45,000-kilometer-long internet cable will be connected to Pakistan today.
IT experts say that the cable capacity is 180 terabytes per second, which will increase the speed of the internet including social media apps.
It is pertinent to note that recently, Minister of State for Information Technology Shaza Fatima had admitted that the internet speed in the country is not as it should be.
The government ally, the Peoples Party, had attacked the government over the slowed internet speed.
Speaking during the National Assembly session, Shazia Marri said that it was funny that the Digital Nation Bill was brought with such internet speed. We are tired of hearing about the firewalls.
