Washington: The newly elected US President Donald Trump has announced that he will expel transgenders from the US armed forces and schools immediately after taking office.
Speaking at a ceremony, Trump said that on his first day in office as US President, he will sign executive orders to end the sexual exploitation of children and expel transgender people from the US military and elementary, middle, and high schools.
He declared war on drug dealers, saying that he would declare drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations and would deal with them severely.
Meanwhile, Trump has nominated Indian-American businessman Sri Ramakrishnan as the White House's senior policy advisor on artificial intelligence. He has an impressive background in technology.
Moreover, after receiving millions of views during the presidential campaign, Trump indicated he would continue using TikTok.
He said that the social media platform TikTok could be allowed to continue operating in the United States for a short period, as he received billions of views through the same platform during the presidential campaign.
