Azerbaijan plane carrying 72 passengers, crashes in Kazakhstan

An Azerbaijan passenger plane crashed in Kazakhstan, with fears of multiple fatalities.

According to foreign media, an Azerbaijan passenger plane bound for Russia crashed in Kazakhstan, videos and photos of which are also going viral on social media.

In the viral videos on social media, the plane can be seen descending rapidly and then crashing into the ground. As the plane crashed, a fire broke out and smoke started coming out.

According to Russian media reports, there were 62 passengers and five crew members on board the plane, of which 12 people managed to escape.
