13 Khawarij killed in South Waziristan IBO
Slain Khawarij were involved in several terrorist acts against the security forces
Rawalpindi: Security forces conducted an Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) in South Waziristan’s Sararogha district on information about the presence of Khawarij, resulting in the killing of 13 Khawarij.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), during the operation conducted on December 24 and 25, 2024, the security forces effectively targeted the Khawarij hideout, resulting in the killing of 13 Khawarij.
According to the ISPR, the slain Khawarij were involved in several terrorist acts against the security forces as well as in the killing of innocent civilians.
The ISPR said that a sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate other Khawarij found in the area, as Pakistan’s security forces are determined to eradicate the menace of terrorism from the country.
