Intense cold, mercury drops to -11°C in Skardu

Skardu: The cold continues to be severe in various cities of the country.

According to the international meteorological website, the mercury in Skardu dropped to -11 degrees Celsius, and -5 degrees Celsius in Ziarat.

The temperature in Kalat was -4 and -3 degrees Celsius in Quetta.

In addition, the temperature in Islamabad and Peshawar was 6, Lahore 9 and Karachi was 11 degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, light rain is likely at a few places in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, northeast Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, Galiyat, and surrounding areas.
