Federal cabinet approved the issuance of ordinance on Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman's demands for Madrasas Registration Bill


Islamabad: The federal cabinet, accepting Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman's demand, approved the issuance of an ordinance related to the registration of madrasas, and also approved the amendment to the Income Tax Amendment Ordinance.
The federal cabinet meeting was held in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif which reviewed the overall political and economic affairs of the country.
The federal cabinet approved the issuance of an ordinance on Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman's demands for the Madrasas Registration Bill.
The federal cabinet also approved the amendment to the Income Tax Amendment Ordinance. With the implementation of the Income Tax Amendment Ordinance, a heavy tax will be imposed on the profits of banks.
It is pertinent to note that on December 16, the Ittehad-e-Tanazem Madrasa Diniya had demanded that the Madrasa Bill has become a regular act and its gazette notification should be issued without delay according to the law.
