Lahore: Fog blanketed various cities of the country, and motorways were closed at several places.
Motorway M2 was closed for traffic from Lahore to Kot Momin, Motorway M3 was closed from Faizpur to Darkhana due to heavy fog, and Motorway M4 was also closed.
Visibility on national highways also remained extremely low, and traffic flow was severely affected due to fog in Jhang, Safdarabad, Gojra and Gago Mandi, long queues of vehicles were formed.
According to the Motorways spokesperson, motorways are closed to ensure public safety. Citizens should prefer to travel during daylight hours.
