Dubai: The nominations for the International Cricket Council (ICC) Test Cricketer of the Year have been announced.
The names released by the ICC include England batsmen Joe Root and Harry Brook.
Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was also nominated by the ICC.
Sri Lanka's Kamindu Mendis has also been nominated for the Test Cricketer of the Year after emerging.
It is pertinent to note that yesterday, the ICC announced the nominations for the T20 Cricketer of the Year 2024 and the name of Pakistan's star batsman Babar Azam was also included.
Babar Azam is currently the top-ranked batsman in One-Day Internationals (ODI) and is ranked sixth in the T20 rankings.
Apart from them, India's Arsdeep Singh, Australia's Travis Head and Zimbabwe's Sikandar Raza were also nominated for the T20 Cricketer of the Year.
