Sania shares adorable picture with son Izhaan as she makes winning return in Wimbledon
London: Indian tennis star, Sania Mirza has shared an adorable moment with son Izhaan Mirza Malik and her partner Bethanie Mattek-Sands after making a winning return in Wimbledon 2021.
The 34-year old sportswoman, who is competing at the Wimbledon after 2017, defeated sixth seeds Alexa Guarachi and Desirae Krawczyk in straight sets to enter the women's doubles Round 2 at the grand slam.
With the victory, Sania marked her 121st-career win.
Post match she shared a picture with Izhaan and Bethanie and captioned it, “Round 1 ☑Smiles ☑Spider man cheering us on ☑Wimbledon ☑”

The Indo-American pair will next face the winners of the match between Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova-Elena Rybakina and Veronika Kudermetova-Elina Vesnina in round 2.
Sania's form at Wimbledon will be crucial for India as she will be participating in the Tokyo Olympics later this month. She will also become the first female athlete to represent India at four Olympics when she competes at Tokyo 2020.
The tennis star took a career break after giving birth to her first child Izhaan with husband and cricketer Shoaib Malik in 2018. In 2020, she made a winning comeback to tennis after clinching the title of Hobart International WTA event.
She won Wimbledon title in 2015 in doubles alongside Martina Hingis. Her career doubles title haul stands at 42 with more than 500 match wins to her name.
