Sources in the Ministry of Health said that the Moderna shot has been provided by the US as aid. While a strategy will be chalked out soon to provide US-made vaccine to those going abroad.
In addition to the Chinese anti-corona vaccines, AstraZeneca and Pfizer are also being used in Pakistan.
Pakistan is expected to get more doses of the UK made coronavirus vaccine in July.

The company has announced that trials had shown that its two-dose COVID vaccine is highly effective in children over 12 years old.
After two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, there were no cases of the virus in study participants, Moderna said in a press release, meaning it was 100% effective at preventing COVID-19.
