PM lauds efforts of FBR for achieving 'historic level’ of tax revenues
Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has commended the efforts of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for achieving a historic level of tax revenues of f Rs. 4732 billion during fiscal year 2020-21.
Taking to twitter, the premier wrote that this is 18% higher than last year and exceeded target of 4691 billion rupees.
“This performance is testimony to the strong economic revival spurred by our government's policies,” PM added.

On the other hand, Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said that the highest export target in the history of Pakistan has been achieved in 2020-21 with an increase of 18%.
“Pakistan's exports will be an important pillar of achieving economic stability in years to come,” he added.
