In case of Bani Gala police station, bail after arrest was granted to 18 accused


Islamabad: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) granted bail to 250 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers in 13 cases registered on the November 26 protest, while rejecting the bail applications of 150 accused.
The cases registered on the November 26 protest were heard in the ATC of Islamabad. The court granted bail to 250 accused in exchange for bonds of Rs5,000 each and ordered their release.
In the case of Bani Gala police station, bail after arrest was granted to 18 accused. In case number 1,032 of Kohsar police station, bail was granted to 43 accused, while the application of one accused was rejected.
The court granted bail to nine accused in the case of Shahzad Town police station and ordered the release of 17 accused in the case filed at Noon police station. The application of one accused was rejected. In case number 1,022 of Aabpara police station, bail was granted to 70 accused, and the application of 25 accused was rejected.
The ATC granted the applications of 30 accused in the case registered at I-9 Police Station and 13 in the case registered at Margalla Police Station and ordered their release, while the bail applications of two accused were rejected.
In two cases registered at Secretariat Police Station, the bails of 120 accused were rejected and 10 accused were granted bail. 25 accused at Sihala Police Station and 30 accused at Shams Colony Police Station were granted bail. 13 cases are registered against the accused in 10 police stations.
