Quetta: At least four people were killed while 35 others sustained injuries in a blast in Balochistan's city of Turbat on Saturday, police said.
Five injured in the blast are in critical condition. However, the nature of the blast has not been ascertained yet.
Among the injured are Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Serious Crime Wing Zohaib Mohsin. Six members of his family also sustained injuries in the explosion.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah strongly condemned the Turbat blast, terming the act as inhumane and despicable, according to a spokesperson for the top official.
