He will work as mentor with Afghan team in Champions Trophy

Kabul: Former Pakistan captain Younis Khan has been appointed as the mentor of the Afghanistan cricket team.
According to the details, Younis Khan has been appointed as the mentor of the Afghanistan cricket team and will work as a mentor with the Afghan team in the Champions Trophy.
Afghan Cricket Board (ACB) spokesperson Syed Naseem Sadat said in this regard that they have given Younis the responsibility of mentoring for the Champions Trophy. He will join the Afghanistan team before the start of the Champions Trophy.
It is pertinent to note that Younis Khan had previously been the batting coach of the Afghanistan team in 2022.
