All accused, including PTI leaders, denied crime


Lahore: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore indicted 31 accused, including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders, in the case of burning the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) office.
The hearing of the case related to the burning of the PML-N office in Lahore was heard by ATC Judge Arshad Javed. Dr Yasmin Rashid, Mian Mahmood-ur-Rashid, Umar Sarfraz, Ijaz Chaudhry, and others were produced from jail, while Sanam Javed appeared for attendance.
The court indicted Dr Yasmin, Umar Sarfraz, Ijaz Chaudhry, Mahmood Rashid, and other accused including Sanam Javed.
All the accused, including the PTI leaders, denied the crime.
The hearing of the case was adjourned until January 23. Further proceedings in the case related to the burning of the PML-N office in Lahore will be held in Kot Lakhpat Jail.
It is pertinent to note that Gulberg Police Station and Model Town Police Station have registered cases against the accused. The PTI leaders are accused of rebellion and inciting workers to arson.
