Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has removed three political parties from its list of registered entities after their failure to conduct intra-party elections.
An official notification says the Pakistan National Party (PNP), the National Democratic Party (NDP), and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Nizam (PTN) have been delisted for not holding elections within the prescribed timeframe.
On the other hand, the electoral watchdog recognised Tehreek-e-Suba Hazara Pakistan (TSHP) as a registered political party. Last week, the ECP also enlisted Awaam Pakistan (AP) after the party held its intra-party elections in June 2024.
