Zardari expressed best wishes for new US President Donald Trump


Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif have congratulated Donald Trump on assuming office as President of the United States.
According to a statement issued by the Presidency, Asif Zardari has expressed his best wishes for the new US President Donald Trump.
Shehbaz Sharif has said that Pakistan and the United States look forward to working with Trump to further strengthen their lasting partnership.
The Prime Minister stated that the two great countries have been working together for peace and prosperity in the region for years and, ‘We will continue to work together for peace, security, and prosperity in the future’.
Other countries continue to send congratulations to Donald Trump on becoming the President of the United States for the second time.
Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Trump before taking the oath of office, saying that despite all the difficulties, Trump showed courage and won.
Putin also hinted at talks with the new US administration on the Ukraine war and nuclear weapons.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said he hoped Trump's second term would bring good to all humanity.
Britain's King Charles and British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer also congratulated Trump on becoming president.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau expressed his commitment to working with the United States, saying that Canada and the United States will be stronger only when they work together.
The Indian Prime Minister also congratulated Trump on taking office, and Ukrainian President Zelensky, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, and the heads of NATO and the European Union also congratulated him.
