Karachi: The strengthening of the US dollar against major currencies globally has led to a significant increase in the price of gold across the country.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association (APGJA), the price of per tola gold has increased by Rs4,250 to Rs287,450.
While the price of 10 grams of gold has increased by Rs3,642 to Rs246,440.
In the global market, gold per ounce has increased by $40 to $2,751.
It is pertinent to note that the previous record price of gold was Rs287,900 on October 30, 2024.
