Islamabad: A fresh consignment of COVID-19 vaccine Sinovac is arriving in Pakistan from China on July 5, GNN reported on Saturday.

Sources said the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA)'s plane will transport vaccine from China to Pakistan.
Pakistan has purchased two-million doses of Sinovac from a Chinese company.
On June 29, three million more doses of China’s Sinovac vaccine has reached Pakistan on Tuesday.
According to details, a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight carrying the consignment of the chinese vaccine arrived in Islamabad.
As per sources, Pakistan purchased the doses from China to speed up the vaccination process. More doses of Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccines would be flown in from China next month, sources revealed.
On June 23, Pakistan received two million doses of Sinovac, confirmed the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).
On the other hand, Pakistan is going to receive 1.5 million doses of Moderna vaccine after the Biden administration's endorsement.
The US will ship 2 million doses of the Pfizer COVID vaccine to Peru and 1.5 million doses of the Moderna vaccine to Pakistan, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said on Monday.
